Joseph C Mathew

Joseph has about 25 years of experience in Information Technology and in leveraging IT for industry and the society. He has expertise as a Developer, Business Analyst, Manager and an Entrepreneur and his experience spans across several verticals like Insurance, Retail and Legal Administration. He has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering. Joseph led Standout’s Technology team for over a decade on several marquee projects in Class Action Settlement Administration.

Joseph believes that IT should essentially make lives better, if not transformed. He advocates that everyone involved with software development should understand client's business ‘domain’ and that the domain is the soul of software. Without trying to understand that soul, software would not achieve its larger goal of transforming lives.

He works towards utilizing technology with human intelligence to add value to business and people associated with it. He is actively involved in evangelizing policies that impact the lives of people positively. In the past, Joseph has served as the Information Technology Adviser to the State Chief Minister, for the Government of Kerala.
